Golden Ardziv Society

Members believe in the valuable contributions the Sisters and the Academy are making in preserving our Armenian cultural heritage.

Recognizing the significance of their unique educational institution, the Golden Ardziv Society members contribute $1,000 each year to ensure the perpetuation of the Armenian Sisters Academy.  These funds are used primarily to address the scholarship needs of the Academy, thus helping to fulfill our commitment to maintain an all-inclusive school.  Anyone interested in joining the Golden Ardziv Society should contact the school at 610.687-4100 and leave a message for Mr. Asadur Minasian or Andre Garabedian, M.D.

Academy Anchors

Members of the Academy Anchors are the newest group of supporters of our school who have pledged to contribute $25,000, $10,000, or $5,000 annually earmarked for capital improvements.  The Academy Anchors become automatic lifetime members of the Golden Ardziv Society. In addition they are recognized on a donor plaque in the school lobby and are granted other courtesies involving Academy functions.  Membership helps to maintain the financial strength of our institution.  If you are interested and would like more information, please contact the school at 610-687-4100 and leave a message for George Avetian, D.O.

POSH Pictures

POSH (Perpetuating Our School and Heritage) is an annual affair filled with food, fun, gifts and the auctioning of fabulous items.  The first POSH affair was held in 1984 and has grown to become the Academy's major, annual fund-raising event.

The evening consists of cocktails, delectable Armenian hors d'oeuvres and sweets, raffles, lotteries, Chinese and silent auctions.  The climax of each affair is the exciting and entertaining oral auction.  Some of the popular items auctioned include handiwork and artwork from Armenia, Academy students' artwork/crafts, fabulous trips and dinners, unique collectables, jewelry, sporting events and memorabilia.  The most awaited and heated bidding occurs over the right to name the Academy driveway.  POSH continues to grow and succeed through community participation and the efforts of the committee, which comprises Academy alumnae, alumnae parents, parents and friends.  Interested individuals can help by donating or soliciting auction items or by donating their time and creative energies.  Most importantly, the Academy needs YOU to attend, generously support, and to enjoy all the festivities of this truly POSH affair.

Academy Alumni Association

The Academy Alumni Association is comprised of graduates and students who attended the Armenian Sisters Academy. The Association's goal is to promote the general welfare of the Academy through public relations and educational enrichment. Numerous alumni have participated in the ongoing support of the Academy financially and in sending their children to the Academy.  Alumni are encouraged to contact the Academy at 610-687-4100 for additional information.

Golf Outing

The annual Golf Tournament is a significant fund-raising event for the Academy, as well as an enjoyable social event during which friends assemble to meet, play golf, and support the Academy.
