The Hampstead Stage Company brought an adaptation of Aladdin to life for all the Academy’s students. Though most children are familiar with Disney’s cartoon version, this live, theatrical version included student (and teacher!) participation. Seventh grade student Stephen Ajdarahian was chosen for his strong muscles and third grade student Sevag Yepoyan’s “nasty” face made the cut. Much to the childrens’ delight, fourth grade teacher Mrs. C was selected for her “evil” laugh. The Hampstead Players, who travel all the way from New Hampshire, mesmerize Academy students each year with their entertaining and educational performances.
