Welcome back to ASA!
You are an exceptional and talented group of students, created in the image of God, ready to embark into the sea of new knowledge and new horizons.
It is so lovely to see how much you’ve grown within these last four years while I was in Rome, Italy. I am happy to be back and begin the 2010-2011 school year with you.
Many expectations and high goals await you. I know with much effort and hard work, you will succeed and strive for even higher learning ambitions.
Your former principal, Sister Louisa, has set a strong educational base upon the fundamentals of her predecessor. I will continue to build higher goals upon this strong foundation.
Here, at the Academy, aside from an outstanding education, ASA offers you a rich, ethnic environment with Armenian language, culture, and history while promoting the Armenian identity and heritage.
The school is built upon the faith of our ancestors and the Love of God. There is a great sense of community here; one that binds teachers, students, and parents together.
By the end of this year, I would like to see that you have grown in many ways - spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically. I hope you feel the satisfaction of achieving your goals and reaching your own personal highest level.
I wish all of you the best in this exciting and rewarding year. May God bless all of you and keep you always in His Love and protection.
Sr. Emma
